- Course objectives
- Statistics II (PMSTII) At the beginning, the course finishes some topics of calculus of probabilities: characteristics of probability distributions, law of averages, central limit theorem and the properties of normal as well as derived exact distributions with quantile tables. The principal aim is to describe basic terms of inductive statistics: parametric functions, source and derived statistics, decision rules, reliability intervals, statistical hypotheses testing, etc. Different situations for comparing random choices are explained: two or more independent or pair or block conjugated random samples. Computer-aided solution of economic tasks using normal distribution, contingency tables and multidimensional regression analysis. Credit requirements: adequately active attendance at exercise and computer sessions, success at progress test. Examination: written and oral from course Statistics I and Statistics II.

- Závěrečná zkouška je písemná s následnou doplňující ústní zkouškou. Do hodnocení se započítává i výsledek zápočtové písemky ze Statistiky I. Pro připuštění ke zkoušce, je nutné, aby student pracoval aktivně na cvičeních, jeho neúčast nepřesáhla 3 cvičení, vzorně připravil a přednesl referát na zadané téma a dále, aby vypracoval a v termínu odevzdal zápočtový projekt, jehož následné hodnocení není negativní. Zadání zápočtového projektu bude specifikováno během semestru.
