- Course objectives
- In the course, it will be explained how companies as organizations function, how the interplay between strategy, organization, employees and leadership takes place, and what possibilities of organizational change do exist. At the beginning of the course, the theoretical foundations from the Behavioral Theory, the Evolutionary Economics, the Resource-based View and from the field of Organizational Behavior research will be developed. The core processes of human resource management will then be presented. This will be followed by an explanation of the topic change management. In this context, interventions meant to control changes at the individual, group and organizational level will be presented. Also the role of leadership in the organizational context will be discussed.

- lectures; autonomous research, studying and analyzing of academic literature; presentations; group discussions; short tests; written exam
- Assessment methods
- 1. Seminar paper (passed - not passed) – elaboration and presentation of a systematic literature review or, alternatively, of a quantitative/qualitative empirical study on a given topic.
2. Short tests at seminars during the semester.
3. Bonus activities – presentations and discussions at the lectures.
4. Final written exam – in case of an insufficient number of points obtained from tests during the semester and bonus activities.
Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination. - Language of instruction
