- Předmět výrazně prohlubuje znalosti a dovednosti požadované při absolvování VB001 English Exam. Důraz je kladen aktivní zvládnutí jazykových a akademických dovedností v písemné formě.
- Syllabus
- Week 1: Introduction, Week 2: Grammar and style, punctuation, Week 3: Plain English, formal and informal register, Week 4: Formal style: letter of complaint, letter of request, Week 5: Letter of application, cover letter and CV (resumé), Week 6: Form-filling, short reports, Week 7:Statistical reports, Week 8: Summary of an article, Week 9: Essay writing - Describing a process, Giving instructions, Week 10: Comparison/contrast essays, Week 11: Cause or effect essays, Week 12: Final test.
