- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to explaine human antomy and the scheme of the human body.Students are working independently under the supervision of the teacher on the assignemets. Final project is the modeling of the human head in 3D modeling program. The course also offers lectures explainig human anatomy, proportions and 3D modeling techniques.For illustration are also presented examples form the history of figurative art and works of 3D character designer for understanding of broader historical context.

- Growth stages. Individuality and caricature.
- Idealization of human body an clothing.
- Animal anatomy .
- Building of a fictional character based on acquired knowledge.
- Completion of 3D model from previous course.
- Further exercise with 3D model – deformation and creation of original character with 3D software.

- Teaching methods
- The combination of the lectures and student's hands-on projects working on computers. Lectures are focused on the given topics with the presentation of the examples from the history of fine arts and from the contemporary works of the character designers as well. The explanation of the basics of the human anatomy. Students are working on the computer througout the semester under the teacher's supervision. Leading towards the independent creative work.
