Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: continuation of Z390-School Pedagogy Course and provides basic information in the field of general and alternative didactics; problematic of contents and structure of education; didactic analysis of the contents of study; inter-subject relations; didactic principles and teaching methods; organizational forms of education; further theoretical knowledge in the preparation for school education; pedagogical class diagnostics; building didactic skills; students' activity in the process of school education; discovery methods; preparation and motivation for self-learning; text study; searching, critical appraisal and processing of information; possibilities of alternative education.

  • Instructive teaching as an academic branch and subject in the study of teaching.
  • Didactic analysis of teaching material.
  • Inter-subject relations in teaching.
  • Didactic principles and methods.
  • Organising lessons. Teacher's lesson preparation.
  • Safety and hygienic aspects of teaching.
  • Specialised classrooms and laboratories, school libraries and information centres.
  • Creativity and methods encouraging creativity.
  • Building skills.
  • Classroom observation.
  • Improving teacher's qualifications.
  • The pupil in the process of education.
  • Pupil's activity and class participation, self-monitoring and self-teaching.
