- Course objectives
- The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The subject instruction is a continuation of the course Remedial Exercise. The latest information on the health educational process supporting the harmonization of the physical and mental health and the quality of life is involved. Practical part of the instruction is based on the experience in the fitness yoga, Pilates and fitball classes as well as in body-balance exercise, power stretch and other kinds of relaxing exercise. The instructional aims are the correct posture training, the practice of the right locomotory stereotypes, muscle strain decrease and mental relaxation. Physical activities focused on the development of self-recognition, individual improvement, the stress control and the physical and mental balance in every-day life situations are also
- Syllabus
- Curriculum: 1.part – the revision of the basic principles of remedial exercise, stretching and relaxation used in the majority of all sports classes 2.part – the correct breathing training based on fitness yoga principles 3.part – the basics of Pilates method focused on the correct technique of beginners exercise performance, gradual modification of the basic sets, practical and theoretical analysis of the exercise 4.part – bodyball training, discussion with the participants about individual feelings and experience gained in the classes. The course should support students self-realization, self-recognition. 5.part – bodyball exercise using Pilates method
