- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to obtain knowledge on taxonomy of combatives and its use pro motor development in non-combat sports.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand and explain combative exercises according to requirements,
- aply theoretical knowledges and choose rihgt combative exercises according to requirements,
- understand connections of combative activities and other sports,
- is able to aply knowledges of sport training, physiology, and anatomy to chosen nsport,
- argue for their exercises samples. - Syllabus
- Combatives - Introduction
- Basic technique - postures, transitions (between postures), arm movements, leg movements, turning the body, transfers, changing position, contact establishment, lifting, carrying and dropping of a live load (partner), falling techniques.
- Basic combatives - centrifugal (pulls), centripetal (pushes), opposition (resistance): pulling opposition, pushing oposition, own opposition.
