Course objectives
Preparing to get a coaching license in cycling
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
Describe the basic theory of knowledge of cycling disciplines (road, track, MTB, BMX, cyclocross)
Draw up an annual training plan for specific groups of cyclists
Define and describe ways to test conditioning skills in cycling
Assess the importance of material security in preparation for cyclists
Interpret theoretical knowledge in practice, coaching in the sports club
Syllabus
  • Theory cycling (cycling history, organization and management of cycling)
  • Material security sports training (bicycle mechanics, bicycle maintenance)
  • Testing conditioning skills in cycling
  • Athletic Training (Zones cover energy, load, recovery)
  • General preparation cyclists (Technical training - Biomechanics pedaling, pedaling technique, physical training - Force abilities, physical training - Speed skills, pedaling frequencies)
