Course objectives
After the course graduate student is able to: - understand historical backround of Japanese fencing and its influence on nowadays combative sports - repeat different teachings of Japanese fencing - describe parts of Japanese armour - list medieval Japanese weapons and desribe their parts - practise diverse sets of movements (kata) - distinguish correct fighting distance - experiment with fighting techniques - practise with an partner safely
