Course objectives
The aim of subject is educate the students about evidence of the training, analysis of training parametres and progress of fitness. The another aim of subject is to aquire knowledge to effective leading of training. It is about the effects of biorhytms, influence of moving between time zones, tapering and peaking sport perfomance, optimalization of training based on recoverable parametres (creatinkinase, heart rate and other), overtraining, influence of altitude, effect of equipment and humidity on sport perfomance.
Learning outcomes
After succesfull completion of the subject "Periodization and Planning of the training" student will be able:
1. to interprete basic of tapering and peaking sport perfomance,
2. to realise evidence of the training,
3. to realise analysis of training parametres and to optimalize training programs on their basis,
4. to suggest analysis of training recomendation for leading sports training on the basis of information about biorhytms, time zones, tapering and peaking sport perfomance, optimalization of training based on recoverable parametres (creatinkinase, heart rate and other), influence of altitude, effect of equipment and humidity on sport perfomance,
5.to work with ovetraining on basis of optimalization of the training.

  • Lectures:
  • Specifics of the training evidence in context of sport disciplines and sport perfomance level of athletes,
  • Analysis of the training in context with cycles of preparation,
  • Overtraining, recoverable processes and training,
  • The models of tapering and peaking sport perfomance,
  • The models of tapering and peaking sport perfomance in endurance activities,
  • The models of tapering and peaking sport perfomance in speed and strength activities,
  • The models of tapering and peaking sport perfomance in activities with high demands on the coordination component,
  • The models of tapering and peaking sport perfomance in team sports,
  • Postactivation potantiation and sports perfomance,
  • Biorhytms and time zones,
  • The effect of altitude, humidity, equipement and temperature on sports perfomance,
  • Seminars:
  • The planning and periodization of the tapering and peaking sport perfomance
  • The evidence of the preparation on basis with biorhytms, time zones, altitude and fatique
  • The realization of excersises to achieve optimal postactivation potentiation.

Assessment methods
To work and consign the evidence of selected training cycle in chosen sport discipline on sports perfomance level. To work strategy for tapering and peaking sports perfomance in chosen sport disciplines. The subject will be finished by oral exam and defense above analysis and strategies.
