Course objectives (in Czech)

Předmět si klade za cíl seznámit posluchače s fenoménem etnických konfliktů. Posluchči budou postupně seznámeni se základními teoretickými koncepty, pojmy a kategoriemi, které souvisí s výzkumem etnických konfliktů. Těžiště kursu bude pak spočívat v jednotlivých případových studiích.

Perspektivy vývoje etnických konfliktů v současném světě literatura k tomuto téma nebude zadána, bude se jednat spíše o závěrečnou diskusi, kdy bude mít celá dvouhodinovka seminární charakter.

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Kurs bude mít formu přednášek, přičemž účast na nich nebude povinná. Nicméně se doporučuje přednášky navštěvovat. Posluchač bude povinen vypracovat seminární práci na vyučujícími schválené téma o rozsahu minimálně 10 stran a maximálně 15 normostran. Hodnocení prací bude v rozmezí 0 – 20 bodů. Hodnocena bude originalita, naplnění tématu, kvalita a relevance pramenů a formální zpracování. Nejzazší termín odevzdání seminární práce bude 20. listopad 2007. Její přijetí je podmínkou k možnosti skládat zkoušku. Semestr bude zakončen písemnou zkouškou, která bude mít podobu 13 otevřených otázek, z nichž každá bude ohodnocena 5 body. Maximum možných bodů činí tedy 65 bodů. Celkové hodnocení kursu bude utvořeno součtem bodů za test a seminární práci. 85 – 79 bodů bude hodnoceno stupněm A, 78 – 74 B, 73 – 67 C, 66 – 60 D, 59 – 52 E, 51 a méně F.
