Course objectives
The course examines concepts of social and economic inequality, social class, gender, ethnicity. The course introduce their empirical indications and their impact on the forms of social structures in contemporary Czech Republic and countries of western Europe.

  • - Socioeconomic inequality and its indicators in the labor market: concepts of social classes and ISEI
  • - Social mobility as an indicator of socioeconomic inequalities
  • - Social origin, education, labour market entry and social destination
