- The course is based on the discussion about the up-to-date issues of world politics. Students are expected to actively participate in the discussion and to follow related news.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students should be able to understand the modern development of world politics as well as the contemporary processes driving it.
Present arguments on a given topic.
Refute and discuss arguments on a given topic.

- Discussion, readings of the study materials, homeworks.
- Assessment methods
- The course is finished with a credit. To acquire a credit an obligatory attendance and an active participation in the course are necessary. Students are also asked to write five homeworks on a theme related to the chosen issue of contemporary processes in the EU.
Points assessment:
Activity 5 points, each homework 5 points. Max. 30 points. The treshold for passing the course are 20 points. - Language of instruction
