Course objectives
The course aims at integrating and deepening advanced knowledge and skills in the field of International Relations and European studies at the Master's level.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to understand the modern development of world politics as well as the contemporary processes driving it.
Present arguments on a given topic.
Refute and discuss arguments on a given topic.
Analyze past connections and predict potential scenarios.

Teaching methods
The course is based on the discussion about the up-to-date issues of world politics. Students are expected to participate in the discussion actively and follow related news.
Assessment methods
Exam grade consists of following assessments: Submit and present two briefing papers (2000 words) you choose from the list of topics at the beginning of the course (max 40 points each) AND Submit two shorter briefing papers (1500) chosen from the list in which you are not presenting (max 25 points each) AND Participate during the debates (max 10 points)
