The course is intended as an introduction to the field of public relations. Attendance and participation in the course is necessary.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to make students acquainted with the procedures of the enterprises communication in a company management and also with other branches of the marketing, e.g. brand management. At the end of the course students should be able to understand the basic methods of company reputation management from the PR point of view. The course will help students acquire job-oriented skills in a public relations branch.

Teaching methods
Lectures cover the theoretical background of the issue. Case studies are used to illustrate the practise. Emphasis is put on active participation of students and discussions which serve to clarify the acquired knowledge.
Assessment methods
The course is concluded by an exam in the form of a written test. Regular attendance and active articipation in class will significantly help to complete the course.
