- Course objectives
- The aim of this seminar is to introduce fan audience in the context of fan studies (its history), typical practices of media fans, and participative culture in general.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to: use their theoretical knowledge of fan studies; connect this knowledge with other contexts (media studies, cultural studies, pop-culture studies, TV studies etc.); know basic methodological approaches to study fans (and niche or subcultural audiences in general); participate in academic discussions

- Během semestru je předpokládaná četba doporučené literatury, aktivita v hodině a plnění kooperačních aktivit na hodinách (tvorba fanartu). Všechny předchozí body uzavírá finální projekt = fanouškovská aktivistická kampaň nebo fanouškovská tvorba – video; možnost práce ve dvojicích (ale musí to být o to větší/ambicióznější projekt); téma projektu musí být předem konzultováno a schváleno vyučující.
