Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follow: to acquire of the basic knowledges about of institutes of the general part of criminal substantive law;
to acquire of the basic knowledges about institutes of the generakl part of criminal process law. At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain basic concepts of criminal substantive law and process law; work with informations on criminal substantive and process law in practice; create a text on the criminal law topic; interpret and use the basic concepts of the both criminal law departments;
Syllabus
  • Basic concepts: concept, functions and basic principles of criminal substantive law (adults and juveniles).
  • Fundamentals of criminal responsibility.
  • The legal consequences of the fundamentals of criminal responsibility (punishments, protective measures, measures for juveniles).
  • Concept, functions and basic principles of criminal process law / criminal procedure (adults and juveniles).
