Prerequisites
The students are required to reach at least inter-mediate level of general English before they enter the course. All language skills will be practised with special focus on English for specific purposes and English for academic purposes.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to expose the students to various types of authentic legal texts - both written and oral.

  • What is lawprescriptive and descriptive law, customs and laws
  • Sources of modern law,common law systems, continental systems
  • Civil and public law, main categories of civil and public law
