- Předmět je určen především studentům magisterského studia oboru právo, u nichž se předpokládá základní znalost disciplín vyučovaných v 1.-6. semestru. Výhodou bude znalost anglického nebo německého jazyka.

- At the end of the course, student should be able to:
- understand basic issues in private legal regulation of ICT
- analyze and solve particular problems of private legal jurisdiction on the internet
- analyze and solve particular problems of electronic contracting
- analyze and solve particular problems of the use of electronic signatures
- analyze and solve particular problems of intellectual property on-line - Syllabus
- Introduction to private ICT law
- Applicability of law on the internet - collision questions
- Legal implications of the structure of the internet and responsibility of information intermediaries
- Specific issues in ISP responsibility - analysis of the recent case-law
- Electronic documents and electronic contracting
- Concept and legal regime of domain names
- Domain disputes in legal practice
- Concept of on-line intellectual property and legal regime of open licences
- Legal protection of software
- Legal remedies in spamming
- Unfair competition on the internet
- Conclusions, assessment of colloquial assignments
