Course objectives
The objective of the course is to teach the studentsmhow to recognise labour law relation and how to distinguish them from other legal relations. Furthemore, the objective of the course is to understand basicprinciples of labour law, protection of an employee and his/her employment relationship. The students shoudl be able to write an employment contarct oranther contract, apply provisions concerting compensation for damages and recognise indistrial injury.

  • Labour law - subject, the concept of dependent work The relationship of the Labour Code and the Civil Code Basic characteristics of the employment relationship termination of employment Accountability system in   employment law. Damages, caused by an employee. Damages under the responsibility of the employer. Collective bargaining and collective agreements.

Teaching methods
Individual preparation at home for prescribed issues, solution of practical examples (application of theoretical knowledge to practical problems), Lesson takes place in the form of consultations.
Assessment methods
Active participating in lectures, during the lessons students solve practical examples and discuss particular problems. The condition for credit is writing of a semester paper on the scheduled topic (approximately 5 pages) according lecturer's instructions.
