- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to help the student continue working on his/her project approved within the course DAF3DT03 Doctoral Thesis Project III. The preparation of the dissertation thesis is done in five phases (courses Doctoral Thesis I to V.). In this second phase, the doctoral student in close co-operation with his/her supervisor will conduct own research on the dissertation topic. Apart from that, the student will prepare a chapter (that will amount about 20 % of the final dissertation thesis) and present it during the PhD workshop/conference in order to gain feedback of his/her supervisior (tutor), other academics and professionals.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of this course student will be able to produce academic presentation in the form of a conference paper and present it.

- The actual framework of co-operation between the student and the supervisor will be set by the supervisor.

- The progress of the doctoral student will be monitored and evaluated by the supervisor. Key part of the assessmnet is the presentation of progress during a PhD workshop and presetation of conference paper.
