Course objectives
This course aims to provide an introduction to some major themes in contemporary legal philosophy and theory.
Special emphasis will be put on a) the questions of legal methodology;
b)the method of the interpretation of human rights.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, the PhD students will be able to:
-formulate the basic philosophical question of their thesis (dissertation);
- write and prepare a paper;

  • The explanation of basic methods of legal interpretation;
  • -the preparation of an argumentative strategy;
  • - the analyse of interpretative techniques;
  • - the interpretation of the basic human rights concepts and texts;
