Course objectives
The aim of the Czech and Czechoslovak Legal History is to show the continuity of our legal development in the past millenium (from 9th or 10th centuries till the first half of the 20th century) and to document the fact that our current law is deeply rooted in the past.
Syllabus
  • The revolutionary year 1848 and its importance for the development of the state and law Constitutional development of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy Formation of modern legal system Foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic Constitutional and legal development of the so called "First Republic (Czechoslovakia 1918-1938) Development of public administration and municipal authorities in the Czech Republic So called "Second Republic" (Czechoslovakia 1939-1945) Period of bondage, concept of post-war order in Czechoslovakia Post-war renewal 1945-1948.

Závěrečné hodnocení - zápočet v rámci MP201Zk. Požadavky zápočtu stanoví učitel seminární skupiny. Písemná zkouška předpokládá dva zápočty, to jest ze zimního i letního semestru.
