Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course deals with conflict of laws in the area of contracts. The institutes of choice of law, restriction of choice, substitute law, imperative rules will be discussed.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to: - explain the doctrines concerning the choice of law; - explain ways of alternative solutions in the absence of choice of law; - analyze mandatory standards (imperative rules); - draw up a comparative-type study in the area of the choice of law.
