- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course deals with conflict of laws in the area of contracts. The institutes of choice of law, restriction of choice, substitute law, imperative rules will be discussed.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to: - explain the doctrines concerning the choice of law; - explain ways of alternative solutions in the absence of choice of law; - analyze mandatory standards (imperative rules); - draw up a comparative-type study in the area of the choice of law.
