Course objectives
Main objectives is theoretically introduction of surgery for medical students, these lectures inform them about basic principles, surgery and procedures.
Syllabus
  • During the lectures the basic principles of the general Surgery and the principal methods of the clinical investigation will be presented.
  • 1. Introduction, methods of clinical examination
  • 2. Pre-operative care
  • 3. Operation rooms,instruments, apparatuses
  • 4. Local and general Anestehesia
  • 5. Antisepsis, asepsis
  • 6. Operations, basic types of operations
  • 7. Bleeding, blood transfusion
  • 8. Shock
  • 9. Post-operative reaction and complications
  • 10.Surgical dietology, enteral and parenteral nutrition
