Course objectives
The goal of practical lessons is to acquaint the students with problematics of treatment and prevence nursing in the field. By the end of the course the student will understand the particularities of care of children in illness. The student understands specifics of communication with children. By the end of the course student should be able to take anamnestic data from parents, to perform physical examination /sight, palpation, auscultation,percussion/, to propose scheme of baby formula. By the end of the course student should be able to describe normal qrowth and development during infancy,childhood and adolescence.
Syllabus
  • Growht and vevelopment during childhood.Age groups.Clinical examination of children. Basic examination of infants.Psychomotoric development during infancy.Examination of new-born,resuscitation of new-born.Examination of the respiratory tract, CV system,GIT,urinary tract,genitals.Nutrution in childhoog. Breast feeding, formula feeding.
