- Course objectives
- Objective of this course is to provide basic information about health care management. Students are introduced to various types of health care institutions and health care system funding. This course covers fields of personal management and organisational culture. Big emphasis is put on a field of quality of provided services, measuring and control. Learning outcomes - student will be able to: - define conception common management and health care management; - understand and create SWOT analysis; - apply basic management knowledge in health care practice; - use and explain the methods of continually quality improvement measuring and control; - interpret questions of personal management and organisational culture; - use knowledge from time management;
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: to get basic orientation in public health problems and policy making; describe czech health care system and to compare it with our neighbours; to understand healt care funding principles; practically use any information of health cera statistics; to explain personal management and quality of care problems; to get oriented in subject legislation; to have knowledge of professional associations; are able to interpret the principle of health care reform and dealing with crisis management.
