Course objectives
The aim of oncologic education for study is to give basis information about research, ocogenesis, basic information about therapeutic principle and about most fervent malignant diseases and about their prevention.
Syllabus
  • Pathogenesis of malignant disease. Chemotherapy, biotherapy and hormonotherapy. Radiotherapy. Histological and clinical staging. Bone marrow transplantation. Psychological problems of cancer patient. Basic information about the most frequent cancer: Breast cancer and other gynecological cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal tumors, cancer of kidney and bladder. Malignant hematological diseases. Psychology of cancer patients, their families and nursing personal Informing patients about their malignant diseases. Aetiology of cancer, influence of nutrition on cancer development, nutrition of oncology patients Pharmacotherapy of malignant diseases and adverse effects of these drugs- Radiotherapy of malignant diseases, adverse effects of radiotherapy Basic information’s about most frequent cancer diseases Urological cancer Digestive tract cancer Lung cancer Gynaecologic cancer Bone marrow transplantation, indication, methods, results.
