Course objectives
This course is an introduction to the basics of the system of individual rights and legal sectors. Special emphasis is placed on legal issues occurring in health care at all levels
Learning outcomes
Students completing the course will be able to understand the legal legislation in his field.
Syllabus
  • The relationship between law and medicine. Creating a system of laws. Legal consciousness. The basic legal standards providing healthcare services: universal health insurance, legal status of citizens in health care. Labour relations: labor discipline, labor disputes, health and safety at work, a special working conditions of women and minors. Administrative healthcare management: employee responsibility for damage caused. Orientation in legislation related to nutritional therapy including food legislation and food services legislation.
