- Course objectives
- Student:
- Will be able to identify problems surgical patient / client
- Know the causes, symptoms, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in hospital and pre-hospital emergency care in selected most frequently occurring diseases and injuries in surgery. - Syllabus
- Exercise: 1 to 20 Basic and specific nursing care for patients with surgical disease (diagnostic methods, treatment procedures, preoperative and postoperative care, education, spec. Care drains, care for acute and chronic wounds) in perioperative care, diseases of the urinary system, diseases of the digestive tract with acute abdomen, intestinal outlet with a special emphasis on differential diagnosis.
- 21 to 25 The knowledge and skills of nurses working in the operating room, including basic surgical instrumentation.
- 26 to 30 Use the simplest, yet most effective diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to ensure the provision of surgical assistance wounded with maximum reduction of mortality and disability and return as many wounded in active life.
