Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the physiological and pathophysiological basis of diabetes mellitus forming a group of diseases of different etiology common denominator - hyperglycemia, disease conditional absolute lack of insulin or a relative deficiency in its reduced efficiency. The student on the basis of acquired knowledge does not forget a page psychological, educational and social, which is directly related mainly patient education.
