- Course objectives
- The subject follows the subject of professional practice in emergency care and the components of the IRS. It is significant part of the study program. It allows the application of theoretical knowledge in clinical conditions workplaces. Expands knowledge of special diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provides space to improve skills, skills and habits. It teaches students autonomy, responsibility and teamwork. Students work under the supervision of clinicians in accredited workplaces.
- Learning outcomes
- Student after the end of the course:
manages the handling of the emergency rescue vehicle internal equipment;
orientated in the fitting of the outboard vehicle equipment and can use it separately;
can work with the medical rescue service documentation;
is an active member of the crew's crew within the exit;
is individually capable of first contacting the patient, examining, securing and treating them;
is actively involved in taking over, transporting and transmitting the patient;
is capable of communicating with the ZZS dispatch center. - Syllabus
- Practice takes place in the 4th semester of study, after the end of theoretical instruction, in the workplace of the medical rescue service.
- The student has the opportunity to practice at his place of residence, where the practice is provided by the contracting school.

- The professional practice is carried out at accredited medical rescue services, under the guidance of experts - trainers of medical rescue services.
Students are given an individual appointment depending on the capacity (capacity) of the workplace.
The student has the opportunity to practice also in the outpatient health care on the basis of the Contract on the Security Practice of Students of MU Faculty of Medicine. - Assessment methods
- Termination: Credit
the subject is finished on the basis of evaluation by the tutor, on the school form. The tutor evaluates the student within one working day at the exits of the ZZS vehicle; - Language of instruction
