Course objectives
The subject is understood as theoretical-practical. It summarizes the most important information and recommendations for students facing the challenge of processing and presenting their bachelor thesis as part of the state final examination. It provides a methodological guide for the various stages of work creation. It deals with the selection and formulation of the problem, goals and assumptions of work. It contains instructions for working with information and literature, both for formal and content work. It recommends a timetable of work as well as a course of preparation of the student to defend the bachelor thesis.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student: versed in the principles of scientific text;
respects the ethical and legal standards;
is able to formulate the problem, objective and assumptions for exploratory investigation;
is able to correct formulation of goals for the work of theoretical or practical case study;

can find and work with appropriate sources of information;
familiar with the methods of data acquisition;
acquired knowledge is able to appropriate methods to assess, comment on and present;
can formulate the findings;
controversy is able to results of other authors;
defend the bachelor thesis.

Syllabus
  • Lectures: The concept and the nature of the thesis, the basic requirements of a work assignment;
  • Processing stage, work schedule and methodology of work;
  • fifth Ethical and legal aspects of written work;
  • Topic, name, determining and defining the problem;
  • Working with literature and information sources;
  • Determination and formulation of objectives, assumptions and selection of respondents;
  • Methods of collection and analysis of data;
  • Formal and content, structure undergraduate work;
  • Doporučení for grammar and stylistics, the most common labor shortages;
  • Rating and advocacy work.
