Translations of continuous texts with the utilisation of such translation procedures that enable to maintain the spirit of the target language. The supposes the level of receptive skills close to the C1 level and the level of productive skills higher that B2. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand extended speech and lectures, articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems provided that the topic is reasonably familiar; interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts while accounting for, and sustaining, their views; write an essay or report, passing on information or giving reasons in support of, or against, a particular point of view.
