Prerequisites
It is recommended to complete the course in the first semester of the bachelor's degree. General requirements are:
- has general knowledge of German at level B1,
- has experience in reading longer coherent texts,
- can use the idioms in German with which he justifies his opinion, refutes a counter-argument, opposes other views, etc.,
- is willing to think about the formulation and conception of your own texts.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to prepare the participants for writing class papers or a bachelor thesis in German. Students learn how to handle scientific texts, how to prepare comprehensive papers, how to organize their writings and how to coherently formulate hole passages in German. In addition, some basics of citing sources are introduced.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students should be able to - find their way through the formal demands laid on bachelor theses at the PdF MU, - analyse, confront and excerpt basic literature on the topic, - give the thesis a coherent structure, - make literature searches and compare the results, - employ basic academic writing skills.

seminar, partly lecture: group assignments, literature search, presentations, training in writing skills, homework

no test, but work during the semester: submission of all assignments, participation in class, research.
