- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to define the specifics of care for people with hearing impairment from birth to the end of life. Orient in the possibilities of diagnosing hearing disorders; To be able to enumerate typical variations in speech development in children with hearing impairment; To be able to justify difficulties in reading with understanding of people with prelingual auditory defects and to know the peculiarities of their written speech; To orientate in the possibilities of compensating hearing defects and to enumerate compensatory aids used by people with hearing impairment. Student is able to characterize possibilities and course of early intervention of hearing impaired; To be able to describe the structure of complex care; Education system; Career opportunities; He will also be familiar with the various visual-motor communication systems; Know the possibilities of interpreting from / to the sign language and to be able to describe the way of care of communication possibilities in persons with sensory impairment.

- - student knows the specifics of caring for a hearing impaired person from birth to the end of life
- student has theoretical and practical skills in the field of education of children, pupils and students with hearing impairment
- student is able to characterize the individual communication systems of people with hearing impairment, learns the basics of some of these communication systems
