Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to help students master methods of literary studies and offer them an insight into the principles of the literary science. The output of the seminar is a written assignment: a critical essay of about 10 pages. Students focus on an analysis of a piece of contemporary prose of their own choice. First they present their analysis orally in the seminar, at the end of the term they hand in a written assignment.

  • 1. Literatura oboru. Možnosti literární interpretace. 2. Sémantická modelace textu. Struktura básnického textu. 3. Rozbor básně podle výber studentů - sémantická analýza. 4. Grafický rámec literárního díla, rozbor grafické stránky literárního textu. 5. Drama jako literární artefakt. Stuktura dramatického textu. 6. Rozbor dramatu: dialog a poznámky. 7. Volitelná témata dle zájmů účastníků semináře: tvořivé činnosti s literárním textem, aktuální problémy literární vědy.
