- Course objectives
- The course focuses on the development and reinforcement of the students' knowledge of grammar at intermediate level. It is based on R. Murphy's English Grammar in Use (3rd edition) - explanations and practice activities are based on the material provided in it + in the Supplementary Exercises (see Literature below). The students should become more confident and fluent in communication and be able to use the language without making serious mistakes.
- Syllabus
- At the beginning of the course the grammar covered in the previous year's course is revised. Week 1: Revision of U 1 - 25. Week 2: Revision of Units 26 - 46. Week 3: Revision of U 47 - 61. Week 4: TEST 1 + U 62 - 64. Week 5: U 65 - 68. Week 6: U 69 - 71. Week 7: U 72 - 76. Week 8: TEST 2 + U 77 - 78. Week 9: 79 - 81. Week 10: 82 - 84. Week 11: U 85 - 87. Week 12: TEST 3 + U 88 - 91. Week 13: Summary and Revision.
