Course objectives
Acquirement of syntactical structure of Russian literary language in the comparison of Russian-Czech plan. Emphasis is given on learning of simple sentence models.
Syllabus
  • 1. Syntax as a grammatical part. The subject of syntax. 2. Syntactical units and their relations in sentence. Simple sentence. Complex and compound sentence. One-element and two-element sentences (minor and major clauses). SV sentence and SVOC sentence. 3. Main sentence elements. Nominative and its formulation. 5. Formulation of predicate. Attributive predicate. 6. Appositional predicate. Přísudek jmenný se sponou a bez spony. 7. Evolving sentence elements.Attributive adjective, appositional adjunct. 8. Apposition. 9. Object. Direct and indirect object. 10. Complement. 11. Adverbials and modes of expression. 12. One-element sentences: with definite nominative, indefinite nominative, general nominative. 13. Compound and Complex sentences. General characteristics.Compound sentence. Classification. 14.Complex sentence. Classification.
