During the early lessons the students recognize the expressing of the attitudes of the speakers and the modality of the sentence. Than the student shall make analysis of the structure of the sentence, recognize the elements of the sentence (subject, object, circumstance, attribute, verbal attribute), the syntactical relations between/among the elements of the sentence and make graphical depiction of the sentence structure.
In the end of the course students will understand the terminology of the contemporary syntactical theories, they should be able to analyse the sentence of more points of views (analytic syntax, valence syntax) and to explain congruence and discrepance between the points of views.
It is pressupposed that students after finishing the course:
- know the terminology of the syntax and are able to explain the terminology of comtemporary theories of syntax dealing with the sentence and enuntiation;
