Course objectives
The goal of the seminar is to acquaint the students with basic linguistic methodological problems on theoretical and practical levels, with the structure of a teaching unit, its planning, preparation and evaluation. Analysis of the textbooks of Czech and Russian editors is also included. At the end of this course, students should be able: to understand and explain the basic principles and problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language; to apply the theoretical knowledge to practice.

  • 1. Introduction in the methodology of foreign languages teaching. 2. Russian as a foreign language. 3. Communicative competence and its components. 4. Communication on the classroom. 5. Planning, preparation, reflection, self-reflection, evaluation of the teaching unit. 6. Valuation of Russian language textbooks for various types of teaching and age categories. 7. Framework and School Educational Program for Basic Education.
