Course objectives
Course Grammar 3A deals with English grammar at intermediate level. The main objective is to summarize and develop the students' knowledge of particular grammar points (see the Outline of the course below).
Students are expected to work on the corresponding units of English Grammar in Use - Third edition(by R. Murphy) on their own. At home, students will be using English Grammar in Use Supplementary Exercises (Hashemi, L. and Murphy, R.). In class, authentic materials will be provided to show students how language is used in real life.
At the end of the course the students should be able to: distinguish differences between grammar structures, form complex sentences, give examples of their own, become competent users of the language.
