- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at intermediate level. The basic study material is coursebook New English File upper-intermediate supplemented by various additional materials.
At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at upper-intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently. - Syllabus
- The basic study material is the coursebook New English File upper-intermediate (Student's book and Workbook), see Literature below. The syllabus includes Units 1 - 2; the focus is on speaking and listening activities and development of students' vocabulary.
