Course objectives
The subject deals with the forms of training the teaching of speech skills in a language class. Attention is paid to language instruments, typology of exercises and to various ways how to activate the teaching process. At the end of this course, students should be able: to define the speech skills; to explain their relation to grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and spelling; to create diverse examples; to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at school.

Teaching methods
Seminar, discussion, presentation. Students are required to attend at least half of the consultation.

Test on topics covered in didactics 1-3 (70%), seminar work.
