Course objectives
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
propose the use of interactive whiteboard and interactive elements in pre-school education;
master the basics of working with interactive elements and to prepare teaching aids;
make effective use of multimedia learning materials;
explain the principles of information society and security;
work effectively with the information resources that can be used in the work of preschool educators.
Syllabus
  • Unit 1: Use of information technologies for education and pre-school education Interactive elements, interactive and multimedia materials preparation, nursery school PC, multimedia textbooks, and ICT-based learning methods. Unit 2: Child and the World in the Context of Information Technology Information society, use of ICT resources for communication, risks associated with information technologies, information sharing and social networks. Unit 3: Information and Communication Technologies in the Activities of Preschool Teachers Obtaining and processing information, information resources, communication and presentations in the work of preschool educator.

Assessment methods
The student creates interactive learning materials for nursery schools and defends them. He is preparing a seminar paper on the assigned topic in the field of ICT and the nursery school.
