- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is to get the students acquainted with the most important historical, cultural and social events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and to get the students to be able to translate and interpret these events.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the seminar the students will - be acquainted with the most important historical, cultural and social events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - they will be able to translate and interpret them.
- Syllabus
- We will concentrate on the most important moments of historical development in the German-speaking countries deal with their political, social, cultural and economical development and compare these items with the development in the other european countries.
