- Course objectives
- This subject is focused on education of students with special education needs in preschool age.Should be able to apply teaching methodology for students with health impairment with focus on intellectual disabilities.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will acquire basic skills in the education of pupils with special education needs.
- Syllabus
- Current concept of special pedagogy, system of pre-school care for children with special educational needs, inclusion, legislation. Basic terminology, categories, methods in special pedagogy of preschool age. Etiology, classification of individual types of disabilities and disadvantages, possibilities of intervention, application to preschool children. Framework Educational Programme for Pre-primary Education. Prevention, areas of special pedagogical diagnostics in children of preschool age. Approaches to children with special educational needs, the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation.
