Course objectives
The aim of the exercises is to give the students the opportinity to carry out their own teaching experiments in connection to the subjects Personality and Social Education, Communication Skills and Pedagogy Diagnostics. Within these exercises the students will apply their theoretical knowledge into practice, in this way they will learn about thier skills and capacities to get in contantact with the pupils, communicate with them, ask them questions and attract thier attention. The students will inspect each others classes and keep record of the observed lesson, they will responsibly evaluate the performance of their fellow students and also evaluate their own teaching experiments. The practical exercises of the students will be preceded by the inspection in the classes of the teachers from the teaching schools.
Syllabus
  • Personality of a teacher, how to become a good teacher. - Autoctaric, democtratic and liberal teacher. - Teaching styles. - Assertivity, aggressivity, submissivity. The assertive teacher. - Inspection in the classes of the teachers from the teaching schools. - Analysis of the observed classes. - Results of the students, videorecording, immediate evaluation by the fellow students, by the teacher, self-evaluation. - Analysis of the recording of the students performace.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Seminář, zápočet - k němu je nutné zpracovat 4 hospitační protokoly z vyučovacích hodin zhlédnutých na fakultních školách. Zpracovat písemnou přípravu na vlastní výstup, po odučení ho zhodnotit, reflexe. Z doporučené literatury si vybrat cvičení na navázání kontaktu s dítětem, se třídou, prakticky ho vyzkoušet, písemně popsat, zhodnotit.
