The course is intended for the 3th grade of Bachelor's degree programme full-time study mode, two-field combination.

Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able: to differentiate individual literary styles of the given period; to categorise them chronologically and compare them reciprocally; to illustrate the theory by means of texts.
Syllabus
  • 1. Literature at the end of 19th and at the beginning of 20th centuries. 1. Fiction between the wars. 2. The period after WW II (existentialism and absurd drama). 3. New fiction and literature of the second halve of 20th century. 4. Contemporary French literature.
