- Bi2BP_NPL1 Inorganic nature 1
Study of inorganics nature, Earth building, Earth mantel, physical a chemistry characteristics, surface properties of Earth, intersection of lithosphere, of hydrosphere (and kryosphere), of atmosphere and biosphere – importance to life and human. Primary and secondary geological structures. Theory of rift, tabular tectonics. Diastrophy, basis of geomorpohlogy. Magmatismus – volcanism, earthquake, postvolcanism (underground watter). Exogennic activities – braking of rocks, slumps, eolics activities, watter activities (karst-activities), human activities 7. Regional geology of World, of Czech Republic – Bohemian massiv, Western Karpats. Historical geology – geological periods and his geological and biological characteristics. Life evolution on the Earth, human evolution. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be able to: - to understand the basic geological processes of the Earth, - to survey the mineralogical and petrological material, - to prepare and to realise easy experiments, - to work with study literature, - to explain basic geological processes. SKILLS - The student after completion of training unit able to define all 11 following the course content. UNDERSTANDING - Student is a graduate training unit able to explain the nature of the curriculum. APPLICATIONS - The student after completion of training the unit can interpret the curriculum. ANALYSIS - The student after completion of training unit able to analyze curriculum. Synthesis - the student is a graduate education can make the basic unit of content. EVALUATION - As a graduate student training unit able to justify discussed curriculum. 1. - Teaching methods is: - Laboratory exercises - Practical field walks, - Discussion of a seminar work - Exploring and identifying minerals and rocks.
- Assessment methods
- written tests, interactive test. Test with open questions, a total of 30 questions, from 30 questions is: A = 30 correct answers, B = 29, C = 28, D = 27, E = 26, F = 25 and less correct answers.
